Translator Note: This is the second of a two-part sermon series by Pastor Tscharntke of the Evangelische Freikirche Riedlingen church in Riedlingen that unleashed a backlash by the leftist press and liberal government officials as well. The first, “The Christian and the Foreigner” was posted a few days ago. He is now being investigated for what he said in these two sermons. Read for yourselves and ask yourselves why he should be subjected to these bully tactics. Note the Bible references link to verses from the King James Bible, which was translated about 100 years after Luther translated the Bible into German.
Text: Psalm 60:4
Subject: “How do we as Christians deal with the immigration problem?“
Reading: Matthew 24:6-14
Dear brothers and sisters, dear guests,
“How do we as Christians deal with the problem of immigration?” The Christian answer to this can only be: “honestly.”
In Germany, though, what does it look like currently when it comes to dealing honestly about this subject? Rainer Wendt, the national president of the German police union recently said of criminal activities in the immigrant housing facilities: “the public hears only a fraction in order not to cause unnecessary panic.” How honestly are we being informed about the activities in our country?
This brings us to a question that for me was the initiator for both sermons in this two-part series. I asked more and more in discussions on our webpage: Why are the fronts so hard on this subject? Why is any criticism right away given blanket condemnation as xenophobia and an un-Christian lack of love?
In answer to this question, two reasons have become more apparent before my eyes:
The first reason: there no honesty
The second reason: there is no desire. Our chancellor is forcing our people down a path that the greater portion of our people have not wanted to travel, one that for many is filled with fear. And this is completely unfounded.
This great dishonesty and compulsion have led to a completely callous and most deeply divisive situation.
I would like to start into the subject, though, in a totally positive way: Last Sunday, we sang the song “Awake, awake thou German land.” By doing this, we were commemorating how richly God has blessed our land spiritually.
But we have also been richly blessed materially. What God has allowed to come our way in prosperity since the 2nd World War has been enormous, even when we must be mindful of the fact that the split between poor and rich just in recent years has broadened immensely. With great affluence on one hand, on the other we also have much bitter poverty in Germany. Pointing single-mindedly to Germany’s affluence like, unfortunately, what also happens in Christianity often these days is definitely not acting honestly. This mocks the great need of many people living in poverty. Let us however make this conclusion: as a whole, we are also materially blessed. For this may we be thankful to God. The can be absolutely no question of whether we can give this richness to those in need. And this indeed also happens in great sums. Germans regularly donate between 5 and 6 billion a year. Those who make the argument these days that criticism of mass immigration is simply for the sake giving away nothing are hardly arguing honestly.
Likewise, beyond this readiness to give, it is basically not even up for discussion that we should also accept those who need asylum among us. I am pretty certain in myself that even the harshest critics of the current mass immigration are not “opponents of asylum.” It’s not at all a question of “asylum, yes or no?”. 99 if not 100% would answer this question ‘yes’ without hesitation. It is a has to do with the fact that in this current mass immigration, only a very miniscule amount has to do with asylum at all. Even our Riedlingen Mayor Schafft plainly confirmed this in a telephone call with me. Thus, when Angela Merkel says: “The basic right to asylum knows no upper limit,” then she taking our people for stupid. Because this way it is not about asylum. And truly, the so-called “war refugees” can actually only in the least amount be called war refugees even when they originally fled the war. To my knowledge, however, most of them in the meantime were housed in camps in Syria and Turkey. From there they made for Germany not because of a threat of war but because of the poverty and lack of perspective there. And the need there is certainly great. Nevertheless, it is not honest when poverty refugees are sold to us as war refugees or asylum seekers by politicians and media. This dishonesty must have a goal. When “war refugees” are mentioned, we get the impression that these people fled directly to Germany from the war. And accordingly, we would have the moral obligation to take all of them in among us. If, however, there were truthful mention of “poverty refugees, then the justifiable question would come to the front: Wouldn’t it be more effective and economic to help the people with their poverty where they are located in Syria and Turkey?
Here, taking a look at some data and facts is very revealing. First comes the question: why have these masses of immigrants just now gotten underway? Two essential factors in the countries of origin may have played a role:
First, [Turkish Prime Minister] Erdogan wants to get rid of the two to four million he has taken in from the bordering war regions. He is supposed to have been caught in the trafficking business.
Second, the United Nations have during the course of this year quite drastically reduced support for the people in the Syrian refugee camps. Where the people there originally received $31 per person per month, now they receive only $9 or nothing at all. Where the $31 would last for a month with some effort, the $9 is good for only a week. And then the people have nothing more to eat. Thus, to a large extent, they have been refused support at the site in Syria and they have ultimately been told: go to Germany, there you will be given the best care for nothing and you’ll get a share of German prosperity. And, most coincidentally, the German Bundestag decided almost at the same time to suspend the Dublin Regulations for Syrian refugees. Now all the world is turning into Syrians and flowing directly to Germany with the guarantee of acceptance and provisions.
In Syria, the people would have continued to receive $31.00 (that is €27.00) per month for their need. In a year, that would come to $372.00 (€327.00).
In Germany, the Republic alone sends funds of €670.00 ($769.25) per immigrant per month to the states. This amount alone is 24 times what is necessary for the provisions in Syria.
But that is just the contribution by the German government. I have been reading lately that an immigrant costs us €24,000 ($27,556) per year. That is 73 times what the cost for provisions in Syria would be. With the money we are giving out for one million immigrants, we would therefore have been able to provide for 73 million in the countries of origin! But this very thing appears to be completely unwanted politically. Because if the people would remain in Syria, then the asylum industry in Germany would not earn a fortune. Field beds, medicines, food, clothing, shelter and supervision – the economy, welfare organizations, welfare and social work, Caritas, etc. make bundles from immigration. The immigration is boosting the economy. The rich are becoming even richer through immigration, and the poor average German pays the tab.
That is the one aspect as to why providing for the people in their countries of origin is most evidently unwanted politically.
The second aspect is: certain powers, most of all Angela Merkel in Germany, want to create a different Germany. They intend to change Europe fundamentally through foreign infiltration and islamization that has been brought about forcibly. Could this be the crazy conspiracy theory of a certain Jakob Tscharntke? In an article by the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper last Sunday (10/4/2015), Horst Seehofer is quoted in so many words: “The chancellor, in my opinion, has decided on a vision for a different Germany.” Merkel, with all diabolical force, wants to create a different Germany. But did she ask us whether we want a different Germany?
No, she is consciously and willingly making policy against her own people. In my estimation, it is the correct and necessary consequence of her behavior that criminal charges have been lodged against her from various sides. The AfD (Alternative for Germany Party), for example, is lodging criminal charges against Angela Merkel for “gang-like trafficking.” The recent weeks and months have shown that she is not actually being pushed from elsewhere, but rather she is the motivating force, at least on the surface.
As a single example for this, I will mention her mantra-like repetition of the slogan that is completely foreign to reality: “We will manage this.”
We definitely will not be able to manage this. The Main-Taunus region just recently sounded the catastrophic alarm. This is what “we’ll manage this” looks like in reality. For many weeks already, work has been done in this de facto catastrophe mode in countless municipalities in Germany.
That which motivates Angela Merkel, however, is against the German people. Because as was already mentioned, the poverty refugees could be provided for more reasonably in their countries of origin and without the fatal risks of a trip to Germany. Therefore, I say: the real responsibility for the victims of death on the way to Germany lies on those who are encouraging and cheering on this mass migration!
In all of this, poverty refugees themselves are only part of the discussion.
Helmut Roewer, longtime head of the Constitutional Defense Bureau in Thüringen, has collected voices from police, security and emergency services.
One police officer reports: While searching those arriving for weapons and the like, those who have been searched have often been found to have brought along thick bundles of money. The police have been instructed to no longer make note of this, let alone to register it. Germans are brought up on charges if they are not needy and still try to obtain social benefits by – not so with the immigrants! Their thick money bundles are not even officially recognized! Furthermore, those who come here with traffickers only have to come up with at least the $4000 for the traffickers. Are these people then really poor?
An employee with the branch of a supermarket chain reported about their behavior. In their store, invading hordes of refugees steal not just single items, rather grocery carts filled toweringly high. The personel are not allowed to intervene. Instead, the employees are forced to sign preprinted declarations of silence regarding these actions.
Incidentally, all over the country the report is that the costs for these campaigns of robbery can be covered by the district administration offices or the communes. “District Administration Office will pay” is the current saying by the immigrants when at the cash registers in many stores. In all honesty, we have to say: We are dealing with an illegal invasion and even a violent one in part. The absurdity of this is that our chancellor is encouraging and promoting this illegal invasion.
Of those who are the real applicants for asylum, we are especially supposed to accept Christians. This has absolutely nothing to do with the idea that Muslims are people of less value. Last Sunday, I demonstrated very broadly that every person, with absolutely no regard to any ethnic origin or religion, is created in the image of God and is loved in Jesus Christ. Therefore, every person has unique value and unique dignity.
But Christians in Muslim countries simply are the most persecuted and threatened. That is the primary reason why we should accept mainly Christians. Otherwise, the danger of bringing criminals rather than victims into the country is great. With careful consideration, I call this “perversion of the concept of asylum.” Asylum implies that a person who is either politically or religiously persecuted in his homeland will find safety and security among us. If the situation of persecution for Christians is being perpetuated in German immigrant housing because Muslims determine the tone there, then this is a “perversion of the concept of asylum.” But for a long time, this has affected not just the non-Muslims in the immigrant housing. All persons of non-islamic faith are threatened by these Muslim immigrants. Those who happen to point this out are not neo-Nazis because the Nazis were antisemitic. However, those who do advocate for the mass immigration of Muslims are therefore promoting de facto antisemitism in Germany! Therefore, if anyone here has an attitude like that of the Nazis, it is not those who are against but rather those who are for this Muslim invasion!
[Translator note: One of the catchwords in Germany by the Left and the mainstream media for those who express their opinion against mass immigration is either the term ‘neo-Nazi’ or ‘antisemitic.’ Sometimes they are also accused as being racist. Those in the US understand the stigma attached with being called racist. The same stigma occurs similarly when ‘neo-Nazi’ or ‘antisemitic’ is used against an individual here in Germany. Thus in the paragraph above, the pastor is trying to point out who really is the antisemite or neo-Nazi.]
Therefore, we must question with all honesty: whom are we allowing to enter?
And secondly, we must ask: whom are we able to integrate here?
As Christians, we must ponder this through spiritual reasoning and not with gushing irrationality. One who consistently lives according to the Koran and the islamic faith is one that we cannot really integrate here. Recently, CDU Bundestag Representative Julia Klöckner was privileged to have this experience – an imam refused to shake her hand. [Other women have experienced similar refusals by the Muslim refugees, too. For example:] female real estate broker, women in housing during distribution of food, female doctors, female police officers, daycare facilities, school, offices, etc. – in the process of equality we now have women in countless positions – whereas from childhood up they are not respected by male Muslims.
I can name here countless other problems, some of them gargantuan, but only with catch phrases: the expenditures for our healthcare, criminality and rape, labor market; preferential treatment of immigrants on train rides, in the real estate market, in the availablity of daycare openings. Germans, even those with migrant background, are increasingly becoming foreigners and second-class people in their own country. They go shopping elsewhere. The first supermarkets are getting ready to close, and the rest can keep the business going only with private security services. Similar situations, in my knowledge, are the rule wherever there are great concentrations of immigrants. And is this the Germany we want? And this is only the beginning. Per recognized information, we can offhand count on 5-8 persons in family reunification. With 1 million, 5-8 million more will follow! Perhaps next year already. What we are experiencing at the moment, this is the snowball. The avalanche is still coming! If energetic intervention doesn’t happen most quickly.
But Merkel wants a different Germany. And she alone can’t be the only one. Merkel alone cannot have the power to stage all of this and stay in power to this day against her own people. There are most certainly others behind Merkel, far greater powers. What do they want?
I am afraid that Angela Merkel, or the powers behind her, want to steer our people into civil-war-like conditions. Also the question here: is this a crazy conspiracy theory?
More and more politicians, even Steinmeier and Gabriel, have lately been indicating that a persistent mass immigration will tear apart our society. Michael Hayden was the director of the American CIA secret service from 2006 to 2009. He made the prediction that Germany would be no longer be governable by 2020 at the latest. The moral corruption, the islamization, the mass unemployment and the lack of will to integrate by immigrants, … and many other German problems will discharge into a civil war.
Berlin media science professor Joachim Trebbe made the following statement regarding the mass immigration: The refugee crisis will drive apart the societal groups in Germany. “It is clear that there will be no peaceful process like the economic miracle after the Second World War. It will produce very strong societal strains and breaches.”
I have already been warning for quite some time now about civil-warlike situations in Germany! If Professor Trebbe says “that that will be no peaceful process,” then his vote must point in a similar direction. And all of this has been and is in the process of being brought about with as much diabolical force as possible by Angela Merkel against the will of the people.
To see this is important for answering the following question: how do we as Christians deal with immigration? Only those who perceive reality can act in accordance with this reality.
How do we as Christians deal with this?
In such a way that we stand upright and speak. We as Christians can do this. Because we have a solid foundation in Jesus. I am reminded of this word from Otto von Bismarck: “We Germans fear God and nothing else in this world.” Those who live in true fear of God have nothing else to fear. As such, those who live securely in the Hand of God, we know that “If God is for us, who can be against us” (Romans 8:31)
That doesn’t mean that the situation isn’t very threatening when looking at it from without. The hate campaign of “south finders” alone already demonstrates this. It shows that we are far closer to a new Reichskristallnacht than I would have held for possible a few weeks ago. What was the issue on the Reichskristallnacht, the night of the 10th to the 11th of November 1938? First it was a brutal initiative against Jews. But it was meant for far more than the just the Jews. Oberlinger pastor Julius von Jan was made to experience this dramatically. He preached a few days later on the Day of Atonement (11/16/1938) about the word from Jeremiah 22:29: “O land, land, land, hear the Word of the Lord.” With regard to the atrocities on Reichskristallnacht a vew days before, he said: “We have here the receipt of the great departure from God and Christ … Therefore Day of Atonement is a day of sadness over ours and our people’s sins which we confess before God, and a day of prayer: Lord give us and our people a new hearing of Your Word, a new observance of Your Commandments! And start with us.“
[Translator note: “South finders” is a newspaper that has been given a different name, like a talk show host in the US calls HuffPo the “Huffington Puffington Post.”]
Ten days after this sermon, he passed by a large crowd SA men and Hitler Youth while returning from an evening sermon in neighboring Schopfloch and was severely beaten and taken prisoner for several months.
When I speak of the Reichskristallnacht, then it is because of this brutal intimidation brought about against those who dare to criticize the official governmental course of action.
And we now see today just how close we are to these events. Because I have dared to show these things through completely provable facts, the chief editor of the “south finders” is calling for “Tscharntke to be fired immediately.” Close the church. Tscharntke is being verbally pulled from the pulpit, dragged to the church door and as much as possible verbally silenced.
It’s not about sniveling and complaints calling for compassion here. To this point, I have managed to survive unharmed. I say this to put before our eyes, just where we stand today among our people and fatherland. Even the Biberach district council and a Riedlingen city council faction have gone along with this campaign of hate.
And it is an indication of the end times that we live in when even representatives from the state church to independent churches all the way to the representatives of our own fellowship are among the main participants in this hate campaign. We also see significant parallels to the Third Reich in all of this. During that time, Pastor Paul Schneider preached like von Jan did against the Nazi ideology. This led to disputes with the Hitler regime and eventually to his arrest. His Rheinish Church took away ecclesiastical protection and delivered him over to the Nazi thugs. Those were times that have begun yet again – take a look at the actions of a few representatives of our fellowship. Apostate Christianity is the worst kind [of Christianity] in the world.
In spite of all these attacks and hostilities, our first commission as Christians is to stand upright and speak out in these times.
Because it is important that we see the present invasion of foreign people in connection with the other signs of the end time.
The indications are multiplying that very dramatic changes lie ahead in the next 5-10 years on this earth.
The Bible names two concrete events that must be fulfilled before Jesus’ return: First, the return of Israel to the Promised Land. This happened already back in 1948.
We heard the second one in the reading of Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached over all the earth as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.” Mission boards report that this could be fufilled in the next few years.
The technological requirements for an antichrist totalitarian police state are indeed comprehensively available now.
Another important step could be the abolition of cash, which is targeted for 2018. For anyone that would then reject the antichrist, his digital login data could be erased with the push of a key. Nicholas Rockefeller was quoted by his friend Aaron Russo as having said the following: “The ultimate goal is to fit every person in this world with an RFID chip. All money and other information will be on this chip, and if anyone would stand against us, or protest, we would simply turn off his chip.” That said, we are very near to that which is predicted in Revelation 13 about the kingdom of the antichrist: “that they were given a sign in their right hand or in their forehead, and that nobody can buy or sell except the one who has the sign, the name of the beast or the number of his name.“
The Deagel Forecast points to dramatic end-time developments in the next 10 years. According to this forecast, there are to be gigantic revolutions worldwide by 2025. The US is to be affected most heavily. Deagel predicts a reduction of the US population from around 319 million today to 65 million people in 2025 – a reduction of a good 80 percent! 254 million US Americans, according to this, would either die or emigrate in the next 10 years. Europe, according to the list, will also suffer a great loss of population.
The antichrist kingdom of the end time is not looming on the horizon as much in darkness these days. Step by step, it is taking on a totally concrete form. The influx of Muslim masses is only a building block in this end-time event.
The widely conforming press is also part of this. Peter Scholl-Latour (image) was asked about his experiences regarding the subject of a conforming media and censorship. He answered: “Paul Sethe (one of the 5 founding publishers of the FAZ) … wrote several years ago: “The freedom of the press in the West is the freedom of 200 rich people to publicize their opinions, – Peter Scholl-Latour continued – it is now no longer 200, in the meantime it has become only 4 or 5.“
The mayor of Ulm, Ivo Gönner made the following observation about the present day: “that great differences exist between public opinion and the opinion that is to some extent published.”
More than ever, what applies in our present time is: “It can only turn out well for those who pray!” Prayer is our main task for these times. Prayer for our people and nation. That people turn back to the Living God. What is happening today is no doubt the judgment of God for the godlessness among our people. If there is any fundamental change at all, it will happen only when a broad turning back to God takes place. Without God, hoping in sustainable political improvements is pointless. We can’t even trust Seehofer and the others here.
If God Himself doesn’t intervene, then the powers behind the scenes will in case of doubt exchange Merkel for another politician who will continue the same policy behind a different façade. Without God’s help, the God Who sees behind the scenes, Who knows exactly who is pulling the strings, and Who alone can put a stop to these string-pullers, without this God, we are more lost than ever in these times.
Prayer to God for repentance of our people, therefore, is so important. Part of this is that we present Jesus Christ to the people. That we we personally invite them to turn back to Him.
And then it is important that we stand together in our families and churches. Destroying this coherence may well have been an essential foundation for the family-hostile policies of the recent decades. In order to produce isolated and lonely people. That is always the way with totalitarian structures. The isolated person who lacks coherence and security in his personal environment, he is at the mercy of others, manipulable and susceptible to blackmail. The one, however who knows that though all societal and government organs abandon me or even turn against me: my family, my loved ones and my spiritual brothers and sisters will stand by me, this person has a completely different foothold. And this foothold is what we need today. And we will need it year after year!
But this foothold in family and church is not enough. Because “the man’s enemy will be his own household” (Matthew 10:36), Jesus says of the time of persecution. Many in the Third Reich experienced just how much this applies. Others in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany) experienced this as they were betrayed to the Stasi by their most intimate friends. It will be no less harmful in the antichrist’s kingdom of the end time.
As important as the coherence in family and church is and yet as it will become even more important – the only sure foundation we have is in Jesus, in the hand of the Almighty God.
Therefore, the most important thing is that we take care of our relationship with Jesus. Being baptized in the church is not enough. Even baptism into the faith is not enough.
We need clarity in Jesus. Assurance of Salvation! Do I know that I belong to Jesus? Do I know that after these days on earth I will spend my eternity in Heaven?
And what do we recommend to our young people these days? Can one still have kids in these last days where hardly anyone can reliably plan ahead? This question of course moves us as parents when looking at our own children. These questions are justified. Jesus says in his talk about the end time in Matthew 24:19: “Woe to those with child and those nursing in those days.” That is an indication of the imminent distress. But that should not paralyze us.
We, therefore, need to counsel our children and young people: Commit yourselves solidly to Jesus. And don’t let your joy of life be robbed. We don’t intend to live defensively. We don’t know how old our grandchildren will become. But when raised in the faith in Jesus, dedicated to Him, they will become a few more children of God that will spend their eternity with Jesus along with us. That is the view we need in these days – forward and upward.
Those that have confidence of faith in Jesus understand also that they are secure in the hand of God. They live led and preserved by the love and faithfulness of the Heavenly Father.
So let the enemies rage. They may not know it, but we know they are enemies that were defeated long ago. The judgment of God upon them will take place in the not too distant future. And then Jesus will set up His kingdom on this earth.
Will we be there?
And will we be there when Jesus comes beforehand unseen in the clouds, perhaps very soon, to bring His own to Himself.
I wish this for all of us, that we all have the assurance of salvation in Jesus. And a absolutely solid peace and security in Him.
Amen
