“Schengen is a theatrical symbol of the Brussels politicians. The desire thereby is to suggest something like a European state. But Schengen has nothing to do with Europe. The EU is not responsible for the acceptance of the refugees. What is important is that one can travel freely, and there is no need of Schengen for that. Every country is responsible for securing its own borders,” says teacher of economics at Oxford and migration researcher Paul Collier.

Denmark is attempting to do that very thing with a strengthened asylum legislation. On Tuesday, Denmark adopted, with a large cross-party majority!, a reform of asylum law in which above 10,000 kroner (1,340 euros) can be taken from refugees in order to co-finance their housing. Family reunification will be made more difficult, and the duration of residence permits will be shortened. The aim of the government is to keep economic refugees and asylum optimizers away.
Denmark’s elected representatives of the people have simply and poignantly fetched back the sovereignty of its people or at least attempted to according to that which Denmark’s citizens expressed with their vote. This is the way to make policy for one’s citizens! Denmark is a small country. There is simply not enough space or capacities there for a mass influx of so-called “refugees” – especially not from lands with alien culture. Why Denmark must enforce an enhanced asylum law can be proved just by a brazen catalog of demands by already deported, therefore illegal, “seekers of asylum” of the Sjaelsmark Departure Center north of Copenhagen (only one and a half kilometers away from the Sandholm Asylum Center) that was set up as a special reception center for “deportees with criminal precaution.”
The deportation of these illegals is made difficult to impossible just like in Hamburg (Lampedusa illegals) or Berlin and elsewhere by leftist Danish, German or European adversaries in which the stays are extended. The Sjaelsmark (Sjaelland) illegals are now supposed to be moved to Jylland, which is why they are demonstrating with their supporters against isolation and inhumane treatment of refugees. In doing so they, the illegals, produced a catalog of demands that comprises 12 brazen demands:
1. We demand that we not be shifted to Jütland Ikast.
2. We are not criminals. We demand that the penal authorities not be allowed to decide over us.
3. We demand that the forced deportations cease – secret as well as public. We are refugees, and our countries are at war.
4. We demand the right to work.
5. We demand a dwelling fit for humans.
6. We demand the right to medications and treatment that will meet our requirements.
7. We demand asylum in Denmark.
8. We demand an account by the authorities. Whom can we consult?
9. How long are we supposed to wait in Sjaelsmark?
10. We demand an end of “incentive programs of motivation” that were developed to dehumanize us to depart and to humiliate us.
11. We demand the freedom to move about, and the right to stay. In short, we demand the right to have rights!
12. Finally, we demand that camps like Sjaelsmark be done away with.
The demonstration as well as the catalog of demands show the illegal, anti-government asylum lobby in action that calls itself here Modkraft.dk or Freedom of Movements.
Even though Denmark has ruled on the same requirements as in Switzerland and parts of Germany with the strengthened asylum legislation, there was an outcry by the mainstream media within and outside of Denmark. The leftist English paper “The Guardian” excelled quite well in this with a Nazi comparison.
Just how dimwitted this portrayal is was proven by the same paper with the report about similarly worded asylum laws of Switzerland and Denmark.
The EU as usual topped it and cited Danish Exterior Minister Kristian Jensen and Integration Minister Inger Støjberg before their EU parliament kindergarten; they are supposed to be “heard” there regarding the new asylum laws. As a result EU parliamentarian Louis Michel suffered from an attack of raving madness.
By the way, in Denmark the haters of Danes are called “Swedish Danes,” and the Swedes from the collapsed welfare state that now want to deport 80,000 asylum seekers (it is said this could take years) are called “Danish Swedes.”
And now comes EU Commissioner Timmermanns and says that 60 percent of the “refugees” can claim absolutely no asylum right. Sodom and Gomorrha.
