Rosenheim. In order to prevent chaos, more refugees are to be picked up from the German-Austrian border with special trains and brought directly to various German cities. A spokesman for the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior stated this Thursday in Rosenheim.
Reports that refugees were to be picked up directly in Austria were not confirmed. According to the statements by the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior, three trains were underway in the evening to bring around 500 refugees each from the Freilassing border area to Celle, Stuttgart and Frankfurt/Main. For the night another drive was planned from Freilassing to Berlin as well as one from Munich to Dortmund. Altogether, around 2500 refugees are able to continue travelling this way. Press release from Alternative for Germany as a result of the reinstituted border controls:
Border controls only a waste – German government goes around German people
On Sunday, German Interior Minister de Maizière wholeheartedly announced the reinstitution of border controls because of the undiminishing storm of asylum applicants. Now BILD reports that the interior minister has simultaneously issued a secret order of ministry to suspend Paragraph 18, section 2, number 1 of the asylum law. This means that foreigners cannot be turned away from Germany even without a visa but are to be henceforth let in and housed in asylum facilities here.
National and Saxon faction president of Alternative for Germany, Frauke Petry, made the following statement regarding this matter:
“The interior minister is brazenly deceiving the German public by pompously leading it to believe that he is bringing a halt to the storm on German borders with the newly instituted border controls. With the secret order to the national police, not only is the sovereignty of the state lifted but also it is presented clearly that the “policy of anyone can come” of Chancellor Merkel is being further executed. Most European countries are justly angry at Germany or, like Great Britain, are making fun of this not so transparent process. The German government has not only failed in the problem with asylum, but is secretly going around its own people.”
After the successful demonstration in Erfurt (PI reported), AFD (Alternative for Germany) is organizing another “Rally against asylum abuse” in Postdam on 9/23/2015.
