Rastatt (ots) – Officers from Rastatt’s criminal police bureau are now busy with a case from Christmas Eve. A 46-year-old woman invited an acquaintance to her place. The young man, however, construed the meeting as something else and hassled the woman. Even though she made it clear to him that she didn’t want to get any closer, the acquaintance wouldn’t let up, which led to the consummation of sexual intercourse in the bedroom against the will of the harmed woman. The 24-year-old inhabitant of a refugee center was taken into temporary custody. The arrest warrant proposed by the district attorney was suspended by the detention judge. Police investigations continue.
Freiburg: Ending of a drama in Freiburg: A 61-year-old woman was held captive and raped over several days. Then she managed through a trick to get her tormentor to go to the police. They arrested him… Because the 50-year-old spoke poor German, he didn’t completely understand the writing. “She saw an opportunity in this,” the spokesperson for the police said. The victim initiated the walk to the police post and offered herself as an interpreter.
Dortmund. Two men have had to give an account before the Dortmund district court since Tuesday. They allegedly raped an 18-year-old schoolgirl. The crime is extremely rare but still a nightmare for any woman: rape by a foreign man who attacked her in public. Since Tuesday, the Dortmund district court has been trying such a case. Victim is an 18-year-old schoolgirl from Hamm, the accused are two young asylum applicants from Iraq.
Bielefeld. On Monday, December 28, a man tried to pull a female pedestrian into the bush at Nelson-Mandela-Platz and possibly to abuse her sexually. According to the police report, the woman was headed out of the city shortly after 9 p.m. on Herforder Strasse when she was suddenly grabbed by the arm by a man near the Ostmann tower. The woman tried to free herself from his grip. She then tried to run over the Stendaler Strasse in the direction of a newsstand. “The man, though, would not let go of her but tried to pull the Bielefeld resident into a bush,” police spokeswoman Kathryn Landwehrmeyer reported. Through the loud cries for help by the victim whose age the police did not release for reasons of safety to the victim, a female witness appeared who was able to scare of the assailant with her presence. He fled in the direction of August-Bebel-Strasse. The assailant (1.75 m tall, black hair cut short on the sides) comes either from southern countries or North Africa. The man had extremely noticeable acne in his face with clearly recognizable acne scars. He spoke broken German and English.
Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt/Downtown (ots) – A 30-year-old man rudely showed himself to a 39-year-old woman Sunday afternoon (12/27/2015) in the Am Leuzebad Street. A man unknown until know assaulted a 24-year-old woman Saturday evening (12/26/2015) at the Schlossplatz. The 30-year-old and the 39-year-old stopped at a swimming pool around 4:30 p.m. on Am Leuzebad Street. The 30-year-old apparently wanted to start up a conversation, but the woman showed no interest. A little later he showed of himself, apparently with an erect organ. The personnel kept the perpetrator detained until the police came, after police action was taken, he was released on his own recognizance. At the Schlossplatz, the 24-year-old woman was observing as he watched two young women in miniskirts and then openly masturbated. The 24-year-old told the police that the unknown assailant had however disappeared. It is unclear whether the two women noticed the incident. The unknown assailant was around 25 years old and around 165 cm tall. He was black, wore jeans, a dark green hooded jacket, and white tennis shoes.
Mannheim. A hitherto unknown assailant sexually assaulted a young woman Sunday morning on Dalbergstrasse. The 38-year-old was found on his way home around 7 o’clock according to the police when the unidentified suspect followed her and blocked her path. When the woman tried to go past the man he grabbed her and tried to kiss her. The man prevented the woman’s calls for help by holding his hand over her mouth. The woman managed to pull it away and to flee after she bit the attacker in the hand. The unidentified assailant, however, continued to follow the woman. Only when a female neighbor in the H7/17 square began to notice the events and threatened to call the police on the man did he disappear. The Mannheim criminal police bureau has taken up investigations. The male assailant is described as follows: Around 20 to 30 years old, around 1.80 m tall, thin, narrow face, short black hair, thick lips, very dark skin color.
Grimmen (ots) – On New Years morning around 1:45, a 21-year-old woman was heading home. Her companion wanted to stay at the Silvester celebration. When she was overtaken by four unknown men, one of these persons kicked her for no reason and hit her in the face. She fell in the continuing impact. She suffered haematomas on her face. She managed to call her friend over and he pursued the assailants for a short time. Both of them describe the men as appearing from southern countries and foreign speaking persons. They could not make closer descriptions. The Grimmen police station is accepting tips (telephone 038326 570) or from other police services.
Rottenbuch: The fire at an asylum center in Rottenbuch a week ago has no xenophobic background. Moreover, the fire was possibly set by one of the residents there. Whether it was due to negligence or intentional, this must still be determined. In addition several other hearings have been started, a police spokesman said to Radio Oberland. The fire broke out a week ago in a toilet of the Rottenbucher Asylum Center. The security service evacuated the house, which was occupied by 87 inhabitants. An employee and an asylum applicant suffered from smoke inhalation from the incident.
Buchholz – Police take an aggressive asylum applicant into custody – On Monday evening around 11:30 p.m. a heavy quarrel developed between several persons in downtown Buchholz. An apparently drunken asylum applicant addressed a 19-year-old woman on Neue Strasse and assaulted her. Friends of the young woman stepped in and detained the 19-year-old man. Immediately the situation escalated. A mêlée arose between the young men. Suddenly the asylum applicant began striking the friend of the 19-year-old with a chain wrapped around his hand. In spite of some hits, none of the opposing parties received visible injuries. The police brought the upset 19-year-old into custody. In order to avoid further escalation, the asylum applicant had to spend the night in a jail cell. He is under investigation for physical injury. The officers seized the young man’s chain that was used used in the crime.
Bendestorf (ots) – This morning around 8:45, a violent attack on a 17-year-old female jogger happened on ‘An den Fischteichen’ Strasse. The 17-year-old was victim of a pepper spray attack, which happened on November 23rd on the Poststrasse in Bendestorf. (We reported about this incident in the press release on 11/24/2015). This morning the young girl ran past three unidentified men who were standing in the ‘An den Fischteichen’ Strasse. While passing, the young girl recognized again two of the men. They were the attackers in the pepper spray attacks about a month prior to this. Suddenly the men followed her. An assailant pulled her to the ground, and the two other men then kicked and beat her. The young girl was hit in the head and area of the belly. The unidentified attackers then fled on foot in the direction of ‘Im Alten Dorfe.’ The 17-year-old eventually called the police. The immediate search for the three fleeing assailants was unsuccessful. Officers brought the injured girl home. The police in Jesteburg are asking witnesses who observed something in connection with this or that can give tips regarding the following described assailants to notify them at tel. 04183/3473. The assailants are described as follows: 1. Assailant: around 1.85m tall, appearing to be from a southern country, short dark hair, clothing: dark brown leather jacket, dark trousers, black “chucks” 2. Linz: In the “transitional shelter” in the former postal distribution center at the Linz main train station, a brawl happened during the night before Tuesday in which around 20 Moroccans participated. According to police, the opposing parties stripped field beds and let loose on each other with iron tubes. Three aid workers for the Red Cross who tried arbitrating intervention were injured.
Bad Aibling: […] With exception of a domestic quarrel in which violence was at play, asylum seekers were participants in all conflicts. Altogether, three persons were injured. The series of engagements started around 7:30 p.m. at the Kolbermoor train station where the state police called for support in the arrest of three young male thugs from Afghanistan. A Meridian train conductor had previously excluded the trio – all three Afghanis showed a “high concentration” in an alcohol test according to the police – since they didn’t have any tickets. At the platform in Kolbermoor, the situation finally escalated. One of the Afghanis hit the conductress with his head against a train wagon, the locomotive driver was hit in the face by a fist. Both were injured in the attacks and had to be medically treated. […]
Eidelstedt – Broomsticks, boards: Armed with various objects, around 60 residents of the First Reception Center on Hörgensweg (Eidelstedt) let loose on each other in the night before Wednesday. Eight men were lightly injured in the incident. As the police communicated, a quarrel between several people arose due to an undetermined cause. The counterparties then beat each other with broomsticks and boards. Employees of the security services were unable to calm the quarrel and alarmed the police. When the officers reached the shelter, they met with great commotion. A brawl, however, could no longer be determined. Eight men aged from 15 to 30 years showed light injuries, mostly bruises. Two of them (16, 22) were transported to a hospital with suspected concussions as a preventative measure.
Kiel: The police were alarmed at 1 p.m. At that time, several refugees with Arab background were beating each other up at the former marine school on Arkonastrasse. Since the situation was unclear, ten cruisers were immediately sent to the facility by the police. The Kiel rescue service was on site with several ambulances and an emergency physician. The quarrel itself was quickly ended by police officers. A cause for the conflict could not be determined by the officers. Inquiries are still being made. The engagement was ended in an hour according to the police.
Wuppertal/Remscheid: The police have arrested one of the two perpetrators at an asylum shelter in Düsseldorf in the case of the brutal attack during the night before November 10th against Lennepe pastor Jürgen B. at the parsonage of St. Bonaventura. The man, a 28-year-old Albanian admitted to the crime. However, any trace of his accomplice remains missing. He knows a nickname, though, the 28-year-old said on record during the interview. “We don’t think that is credible,” said Wolf-Tilman Baumert, spokesman for the Wuppertal district attorney on Monday. The investigators think it possible that the second perpetrator continues to stay in the mountain region (Bergisch) and are asking for tips.
Dachau / Regensburg: In Dachau, six residents were hit. In addition, three employees who were employed at the shelter of a security firm caught it. A brawl started up on Wednesday (12/30/15) shortly after 11 p.m. The “victims” were hit, shards were flying everywhere, glass bottles shattered, window panes were broken. In the shelter in Dachau, 300 people are currently sheltered. Participating in the brawl were around 70 Syrians and Afghanis. The police took ten of the participants into custody but later released them. The ringleaders were transferred to a shelter in Munich. The brawl in an asylum shelter in Regensburg’s Clermont-Ferand-Allee also happened on Wednesday (12/30/15). A total of 20 persons from two large families started fighting each other according to police. A few family members were slightly injured. A total of 12 officers were deployed to calm the situation. One of the two families was brought to another Regensburg shelter.
Ingolstadt: The personnel of a supermarket on Regensburg Strasse in Schrobenhausen noticed three suspicious men in the store on Christmas Eve around 12:20. After the men had already left the store and gone a distance, it was noticed on the surveillance system that at least one of the suspects had stolen cigarettes worth around 100 euros. The theft was registered with the Schrobenhausen police inspector. On Monday around 1:55 p.m. one of the three suspicious men was arrested again in the store when he hid several cans of fried herring under his jacket. The victim detained him and gave him over to the officers of the Schrobenhausen police inspector. The perpetrator who implicated himself in both shop thefts is a 34-year-old asylum applicant living in Schrobenhausen.
Freiburg (ots): Late Tuesday evening, an incident having serious consequences occurred in a shelter for refugees in Rheinfelden. Two residents of North African background fell into a quarrel with each other for still unknown reasons. This escalated and developed into a knife attack. The younger of the two quarrelers stabbed his opponent and seriously injured him. The 32-year-old victim had to be brought to a hospital after emergency treatment by the rescue service. Afterward he was able to leave. The police arrested the stabber at the scene. The Lörrach district attorney applied for an arrest warrant for the 19-year-old suspect for serious bodily injury.
